Framing and More Concrete - Click on a picture for a larger image

Team Concrete returns

Pouring into a wheelbarrow for the small slab in the sideyard

Pouring the front porch slab. A critical adjustment to a form height was made seconds after this picture was taken (disaster averted!).

There it is. Finished. What will happen when the wooden form at the front is removed later???

Bolts pointing up for framing and stab bolts for attaching a header for framing and subfloor.

Sub-subfloor above the kitchen and living rooms

1/2 inch plywood evens out the height of the 12inch beams and the 11 1/2 inch joists. When the 3/4 inch subfloor is placed above this we should have a solid, quiet 2nd floor.

This time most of Matias came through the ceiling. It's a good thing we decided to remove and replace this ceiling just the day before.

Sean spent most of the day pre-cutting the roof rafters for the garage. Ready for when the huge ridge beam comes in on Tuesday.
